Account Manager- Financial Research and Information

Financial, Permanent, London, £30-40k Basic, 70-110% in bonus


My client is an international financial research and information company, working almost exclusively with buy-side investors. Due to their reputation and company structure they are currently in a position to add to their team, and are currently looking for an Account Manager to bolster their ranks. This is a great opportunity to join a growing organisation within a market sector which is thriving, and push your career in the right direction.

The account manager position will see you given a handful of bespoke accounts, predominantly within the UK market, and you will be expected to offer a consultative, hands on approach to assisting said accounts as and when it is needed. You will also be aware to any opportunities to cross sell or up sell to your accounts, in order to optimise any revenue available. You may also be asked to support the sales team in offering a fuller picture when attempting to sign up new clients.

The ideal candidate will have a degree, preferably in a relevant field although this is not a deal breaker. You will have at least 18 months experience working for a financial information/ research organisation, or similar, in an account management position, or similar. You will be polished, smartly presented, and carry an excellent understanding of how to address and handle c-level decision makers within important financial organisations.
