Technical Pre-sales Engineer – IP Networks – UK - £40-45K Basic + Bonus + Benefits

My client is one of the leading engineering support services businesses in the UK and is a specialist service provider to the communications, power transmission, utilities and property sectors, both in the UK and internationally. The Division has experience in providing full end-to-end network services and is an approved supplier to the UK’s major network owners and operators. They are right now looking a Technical Pre-Sales Engineer with IP Network Experience.

The Successful candidate will report directly to the NGN Project Director. You will have 3-5 years technical experience with a proven sales ability or wanting to take the next step in your career development. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of broadband IP Networks and be able to understand the clients needs to then be able to create a solution to there broadband IP network requirements. You will possess the ability and drive to proactively help develop new sales when in front of clients and be comfortable being part of the sales process.

Ideally you will have experience dealing with a client base that will include: local government, national government, blue light and also private sector. The role will be covering the UK as a whole so good access to major road links would be advantageous and be within 2 hours of the midlands for weekly/monthly team meetings.
