Financial, Permanent, London, £23-27k Basic + £10-15k

My client is a leading International Financial Research firm, based in the heart of London. They specialize in providing institutional investors with access to industry professionals, and market insight, and consider their client base to lie firmly within the Fortune 500, top professional services firms and the world’s leading financial institutions. They are looking for a bright and capable individual to join their team in a Research Associate capacity.

The role of Research Associate is a key position in assisting in the company’s functionality and continued growth into the European markets. Your primary role will involve identifying, approaching and interviewing industry professionals who are ideally suited to the needs of your clients. Once you have qualified them, it will be your job to schedule initial telephone meetings between the suitable professional and the client. You will be expected to identify market trends, establish new relationships with industry professionals and maintain existing ones.

The ideal candidate will be either a graduate, or a second jobber, looking to carve out a career in the financial sector. Your degree will come from a leading university, and will preferably be relevant to the financial and/or banking sector. You will be dealing with European markets a lot of the time, so a second leading European language is highly desirable. You will be enthusiastic to learn and develop, show a willingness to drive the company forward, and a desire to better yourself.
