Business Development Associate - Software and Online Research

IT Software, Permanent, London, £30-£35K basic - £45K OTE

My client is a technology company that produces and sells market leading, innovate online research solutions for businesses, organizations and individuals involved in market research. The company specializes in SaaS, web-based software solutions offering efficient, user friendly online sample management and access, as well as online panel management products that are accessible worldwide 24/7. They are currently looking for internal sales executives/Business development Associates to join their team and develop highly qualified business leads.

The role will see you finding, chasing and pitching to Fortune 500 companies in the UK with £150m+ revenue. You will be adept at prospecting potential clients and profiling their hierarchy in order to contact the relevant decision makers. You will cold call these prospects and talk to them about my clients offering and how they can help them. You will be required to follow up on all leads, via email, calls and mail correspondence with the aim of generating demo’s and meetings for the client facing sales team. All activities will be updated onto the CRM system.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years inside sales experience with a technology or market research company. You should be degree educated and have the ability to converse with key decision makers within Fortune 500 companies. This role will require a proactive approach and you be tenacious, not take no for an answer and have the excellent powers of persuasion without being abrasive. In addition to this you should be polished, consultative and have the ambition to grow with my client. Experience of working with CRM systems is beneficial as is a 2nd European language.
