OEM Sales Manager – Business Intelligence / Open Source- £65K + 130000 OTE – Home Based

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced direct touch channel Sales Manager. My client is a leading provider of open source business intelligence. They provide comprehensive reporting, OLAP analysis, dashboards, data integration, data mining and a BI platform that have made it the world's leading and most widely deployed open source BI suite. There products have been downloaded more than three million times, with production deployments at companies ranging from small organizations to The Global 2000.

As a result of their success they are currently looking to strengthen their position within the UK market by having a dedicated sales manager to assist their current partner network. This role will see you selling an open source Business intelligence platform to end user clients as well as third party SaaS/OEM customers. Typical order values will range from £30 – 70k with the average sales cycle being from 3-6 months. Target for fiscal year one will be $1M. Working from home you will be one of the first sales managers on the ground. The success of the UK operation will be in no small part based on the success of the UK sales manager in this post. The career path is clearly defined, from day one with growth sales team be incorporated into predefined and agreed budgets, this will see you assume full UK P&L responsibility.

The ideal applicant will come from a background of selling Business Intelligence solutions into end user clients both direct and third party. Ideally you will have current experience of dealing with partners as well. Open Source Business Intelligence would be preferential.
