After establishing their company as a market leader in the US, my client has won multiple awards for their achievements in UK and the European region; they have been named in the “top hundred companies to work for” list 2 years in a row now. My client provides E commerce software and services, which allows reviews and ratings from customers. They are looking for a support engineer to join their team and help with the ongoing development of their solution on clients sites.

The role of the support engineer will be to work with clients once the SaaS has gone live. You will be responsible for implementing the development and upgrade to clients sites, in addition to tweaking the solution to ensure proper ROI for client. You will be using CSS and HTML on a daily basis and will conduct formal testing, troubleshooting, and QA of the solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience of installing software on B2C websites, with an emphasis on tier 1 retailers. The role is not client facing, but will require you to deal with clients on the phone on a day to day basis and you should therefore have excellent communication skills and good commercial acumen. You need to be degree educated, in computer science or a related subject, and should have an advanced understanding of CSS, HTML and Javascript. The company is looking for someone who has a great deal of focus and dedication to your job responsibilities and your team; therefore you should have high energy, personal drive and be technically savvy.

The role is paying a basic between £30-35K (depending on experience) and the company offer share options.
