UPS TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER -LONDON & SE – UPS – POWER SOLUTIONS - £35-40k BASIC - £15k OTE

My Client is one of the UK leading UPS companies that offer total power solutions for customers that require assistance and guidance with many aspects of their power installation including Diesel, Distribution Boards, UPS Panels, Isolation transformers, Static Transfer Switches (STS), Central Battery Systems (Static Inverters) for Emergency Lighting applications as well as Certified Electrical Installation of all the equipment they supply. They are looking for right now an experienced Northern Area Sales Manager.

The London & SE Area Technical Sales Manager would see working from home, but closely with the National Sales Manager. You will be managing and selling in to a very established account base and also bring in new business wherever possible. You will be expected to sell to a board range of industries from major retail groups, entertainment centres, oil companies, MOD, hospitals, government, education, IT, the Finance sector, local authorities, facility management organisations, large consultants and M & E contractors and end users. . I am charged with predominantly sales, project managing, solution providing and problem solving. You will build good working relationships with senior level buyers, designers, PM’s, MD’s, CEO’s, Associates and principal electrical engineers within consultancies and M & E contractors to help develop there design solutions and to ensure that my clients product is specified on tender documents and that it specific product features are written into performance specifications.

The ideal Candidate will have 1-4+ years industry experience specializing in three phase UPS and IT sales whilst providing total solution and” turn Key” based proposals. You will be target driven and Identify senior decision makers within company’s, arranging meetings, selling and follow through by building and maintaining strong profitable relationships within consultancies and M & E contractors in order to produce regular sales, promote the company’s brand whilst also promoting the companies products and services. You have produced and generated quotation requests and identify new sales leads, projects and tenders whilst developing and managing sales pipe lines. Excellent ability to promote product and services based on good and sound product knowledge that ensures a strong and persuasive sales process.
